AIP Reintroduction

AIP Reintroduction Phase

4 Stage REINTRODUCTION

Many people are concerned about reintroducing foods because they fear a reaction.

That is totally reasonable. Nevertheless, it is important to understand, your end goal is to arrive at the least restrictive diet possible.

There are both physical and emotional benefits of expanding your food options. Remaining on a restrictive diet long-term may lead to unhealthy associations with food and nutritional deficiencies. A strict AIP elimination is not meant to be a forever diet. In fact, research shows long-term elimination diets may negatively affect the gut microbiome and lead to worsening food intolerance.

Start here if  YOU
  • You have been AIP compliant for at least 30 days or longer, and feel ready to re-introduce your favorite food back into your diet

  • Your own troubleshooting feels like it’s gotten you nowhere, and you need some extra guidance

  • You have had trouble figuring out whether a reintroduced food was successful or not

  • You have attempted food reintroductions but most, if not every time, have failed
